Every shot, recorded.
Enter strokes hole-by-hole. Add the club you drew, the distance you achieved, and — with clinical honesty — the direction the ball departed. Push, pull, draw, hook, the occasional slice. Your ledger won't judge.
A ledger for the sincerely interested. Every shot, every club, every direction the ball conspired to travel. We compute your World Handicap by the book, chart your progression, and — should you so elect — seat you at the leaderboard. No ads, no tracking, no nudges. Just the game.

We apply the World Handicap System as written: differentials computed with course rating and slope, index averaged from the best 8 of your last 20 rounds. Fewer rounds? The WHS short-table adjustments are honoured automatically.
The leaderboard is strictly opt-in. Toggle it on in your profile and you'll appear, ranked by index; leave it off and your ledger stays private. No dark patterns, no default exposure.
Registration begins with an email. You'll receive a letter with an acknowledgement link — click it and your ledger opens. Until you do, no account exists in any practical sense.
Front nine, back nine, totals. Computed in tabular figures because a scoreline should line up — literally. The differential is logged against your ledger the moment you post the round.
For each round posted, Greenskeeper computes the score differential — the distance between your adjusted gross score and the course rating, scaled by slope. After three rounds, an index appears. After twenty, we take the lowest eight differentials and average them; that is your Handicap Index. Before twenty rounds, the short-table governs — one to seven of your lowest differentials, with small downward adjustments applied so that your index matures honestly. When a new round enters the twenty-round window, an older one leaves. The index is always current, always defensible.
Registration takes thirty seconds. You'll receive a dispatch by post — well, by electronic mail — with a single link to acknowledge. Click it, and the book opens.
